Individualized programs are available for a variety of training needs. We will work with your horse, work with you, or show you how to work with your horse yourself. Our specialty is behavioral challenges, including trailer loading, disrespectful attitudes, ground control, and other issues, as well as traditional and non traditional training requests, from help with lunging, in-saddle techniques, or teaching your horse unusual but cool behaviors. We also start horses and work with riders and competitors in a variety of disciplines. Discounted private training packages are available and come with an extensive written training plan for you and your horse.

Our in-board program is a comprehensive, whole-horse educational experience. With most in-board programs, the training consists of a half hour to an hour of someone riding your horse every day or so at the training barn. Where these programs end, ours only begins. Our program includes extensive handling of your horse in as many conditions as we can come up with, according to your horse's needs. We will evaluate your horse and sit down with you to determine your needs and together come up with a comprehensive program to make your horse all he can be. We try to anticipate all of the activities you will do with your horse and prepare your horse accordingly. Depending on your needs, this may include manners, daily grooming (including tying, clipping, foot handling, flyspraying), catching, leading, trailering, hosing, de-spooking, riding at different locations, exposing your horse to different environments, as well as addressing your horse's behavior and performance under saddle, mounting, water crossing, handling obstacles, reducing or eliminating resistance, responding/yielding to the leg (moving forward and laterally), seat and leg cues, or teaching your horse tricks such as bowing, laying down, or performing at liberty.

Clients entering an in-board training program will receive an extensive written training plan as well as a training log that details all of the work we have done with your horse.

Our in-board training program is priced by the week. While most other trainers have monthly fees only, we have discovered that not all horses need a full month's work so we have made weekly in-board training available starting at $150/week with board starting at $50/week. Each in-board program comes with a complimentary Introductory Clinic tuition for the handler/rider. Discounts are available for longer-term clients. Horses on in-board training programs are eligible for equine massage services at half price while they are in their program.

Spring tune-up special! In-board training is available through March 1, 2009 at a discounted rate of $125/week including basic board. Regular price $200/week). Limited slots available so reserve soon. Certain exceptions may apply. Please contact us for details.

Private instruction is available at $60/hr at our facility and $75 an hour at your barn (travel fees may apply if you are outside our area; please call for details). Discounts are available if we can arrange more than one client at your barn, so tell your friends! Package plans are available for sets of 10 or 20 lessons.
